Ye shall be holy | Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father| Leviticus 19:2-3
In Leviticus 19:2-3, Jesus gives us 2 commands: to be holy and to fear our parents. Ask yourself this, 'Do I expect God to fear my parents for me so that I do not have to fear them?' Also, 'Do I expect God to be holy for me so that I do not have to become holy as He commands me?'
If you can understand that you cannot possibly expect Jesus to do those 2 chores for you, but that you must do them yourself, then you can understand that Jesus wants you to be holy for Him because He is holy and that Jesus is not going to be holy for anyone so that we do not have to become holy because we claim with Satan that we cannot be holy.
When the disguised ministers of light of Satan teach and preach that you cannot become holy but that the blood of Jesus or Jesus Himself will be holy for you (your holiness) to make you holy or only God is holy, if you can think clearly for a minute, you must realize that Satan has been fooling you because Satan is lying to you saying that God will do for you what God asks you to do or that God will be(come) for you what He wants you to be(come).
'Ye shall be holy" means that God wants us to be holy on our own (self-holiness), just as He is asking us to fear our parents on our own and as we cannot expect Him to fear our parents for us because we cannot do it or because we do not want to do that.
